WATER

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

ALOE VERA POWDER Eco

Extraction: Aloe Vera is a perennial plant native to warm climates. The gel contained in its leaves is commonly used in skin treatments due to its many beneficial properties.

Benefits: Known as an astringent, this plant also has moisturizing, regenerating, rejuvenating and antibacterial properties. These properties are perfect for revitalizing skin. It also functions as a deep cleansing agent, opening pores and eliminating toxins that cause the disruptions in the skin’s normal functioning. It also benefits the hair by restoring shine and helping to eliminate excess dandruff and scalp irritations. It is used especially effective for treating skin irritations, blemishes and acne.

COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE

Extraction: amphoteric surfactant, surfactant, derived from coconut oil, which belongs to the family of betaines. Betaines have a mild detergent power and are usually used as co-surfactants.

Benefits: cleans without drying, enhances foam formation, non-irritable and reduces possible irritations caused by other surfactants. They also control the viscosity in cosmetic products and condition hair.

KIWI WATER

Extraction: this pure vegetable water is extracted from the kiwi fruit by evaporation, making sure its properties aren’t harmed.

Benefits: refined by the own plant, this pure and original water adds to its exceptional qualities essential oil, mineral salts and other plant-based trace elements. It is an excellent moisturizer and highlighter, improving epidermis’ cell functions.

POTASSIUM COCOYL RICE AMINO ACIDS

Extraction: vegetal origin sufractant and co-sufractant, biodegradable and commonly accepted in shampoo and shower gel making. It is obtained from coconut oil and rice oil.

Benefits: it takes care of gently cleaning and reducing irritation chances from other aggressive sufractants. It produces small bubbles.

SODIUM COCOYL GLUTAMATE

Extraction: sodium salt of cocoyl-glutamic acid. This natural ingredient is extracted directly from coconut oil.

Benefits: surfactant and cleaning agent.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

VEGETABLE INULIN

Extraction: a fructose polysaccharide extracted from plants. It is ideal for the production of shampoos. It is usually extracted from chicory (vegetable) root, but it is also present in other types of vegetables and also in garlic, onion, wheat, asparagus, artichoke...

Benefits: excellent moisturizer for skin and hair. It smooths skin and hair and acts as a natural non-ionic hair conditioner to smoothen hair fibres. Suitable for all hair and skin types.

LACTIC ACID

Extraction: lactic acid is used to balance the pH of cosmetic products.

Benefits: this ingredient allows cosmetics to be milder for skin and hair.

RICE WATER

Extraction: This vegetable pure water is extracted from rice by hyper-frequency without adding chemical solvents nor other processes that could potentially contaminate or affect its properties.

Benefits: Its nourishing, conditioning and antioxidant properties make this ingredient excellent to restore the hair in the most natural way, substituting silicones.

ALMOND OIL Eco

Extraction: almond oil is composed of monounsaturated fats (healthy fats found in plant foods), oleic acid and linoleic acids (such as Omega 3 and 6). It is almost transparent in color with yellow or golden hues and is almost odourless.

Benefits: It acts as a stimulant for the production of collagen and elastin, providing the tissues with firmness and elasticity. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles and stretchmarks and sweet almond oil is even recommended in various anti-cellulite treatments. Extraction: Sodium Levulinate is a 100% natural preservative obtained from starch and vegetal inulin.

Benefits: It is a gentle preservative proved to be able to control microorganism colonies without altering the integrity, colour or pH of other ingredients included in the final product. It is especially used in the preservation of fresh ingredients.

MELLOW PEAR SHAMPOO NATURAL PERFUME

Extraction: Irish moss extract is a mucilage extracted from Chondrus crispus algae. Later, it is dried and pulverized. When rehydrated this extract is very versatile, it can be used as a thickening agent or for the production of resistant films.

DEHYDROXANTHAN GUM

Extraction: polysaccharide derived from carbs’ fermentation like glucose or corn syrup.

Benefits: it is used as binder stabilizer and skin conditioning agent in a great variety of cosmetics and personal care products including bathroom toiletries, make-up, skincare, haircare and toothpaste.

SODIUM ANISATE

Extraction: Sodium Anisate is a 100% natural preservative obtained from anise and fennel.

SODIUM CHLORIDE

Extraction: sodium chloride is obtained from the mineral halite and is commonly known as table salt. It is a mineral essential for all biological organisms and is found in most tissues and body fluids.

SODIUM PHYTATE

Extraction: sodium salt from phytic acid, a vegetable compound found in corn.

Extraction: rice extract is obtained directly from the rice grain unlike the rice oil which is obtained from the bran. Nonetheless, rice is mostly known for its multiple beneficial properties is a useful ingredient in skin and hair care.

Benefits: this extract has excellent properties promoting the growth and strengthening of hair and nails. Its activity stimulates different keratin proteins responsible for helping nails growth and fortification.

SESAME OIL Eco

Extraction: sesame oil is obtained by cold pressing its seeds. Sesamum Indicum is a flowering plant of the Pedaliaceae family. It was cultivated in Mesopotamia at least four milleniums ago. Currently it is still popular in Eastern and American countries, in the form of seed, oil or derivatives.

Benefits: it has photoprotective, moisturising, antibacterial and antioxidant properties. It acts on the horny layer, fighting common inflammations of sensitive skins, such as dermatitis. Its photoprotective properties make it ideal for protecting the skin from damage caused by sun.

SUNFLOWER SEED OIL

Extraction: sunflower oil is obtained from Helianthus Annus sunflower seeds.

Benefits: rich in omega-6 and vitamin E, sunflower seed oil is used in the cosmetics industry as skin repairing agent. Prevents skin dehydration and has soothing, nourishing and antibacterial properties. It is perfect for treating all skin types including: dry, normal, oily and acne prone skin.

CAMELINA OIL Eco

Extraction: Camelina is a flowering plant of the Cruciferacea family. The precious oil is found in the seeds of its fruit. It has a long history of farming in Europe and is also common in North America.

Benefits: it promotes skin cell renewal and provides anti-inflammatory and calming effects. It has regenerating and emollient properties and is perfect for fighting environmental stress.

UNSAPONIFIABLE FRACTION OF SUNFLOWER OIL Eco

Extraction: the unsaponifiable fraction of sunflower oil is an active ingredient that is naturally found in the seeds of Helianthus Annuus. These molecules are highly appreciated for their cosmetic properties.

Benefits: its two main functions are to moisturise and soothe skin. It stimulates the synthesis of key lipids, which strengthen the skin barrier and ensure deep hydration. It also acts in inflammation mediators, soothing inflamed skin.

JOJOBA OIL

Extraction: jojoba oil is extracted from the jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) nut (seed). Actually, it functions more like a wax that is liquid at room temperature than an oil. 96% of its composition consists of ceramides.

Benefits: highly moisturizing and nourishing. Ceramides cover the cells of the epidermis and to help regulate and intensify hydration. They are very similar to human skin, which is why they are absorbed and act quickly and are not oily to the touch. Jojoba oil also contains linoleic acid which is a very effective at restructuring and regenerating natural skin. Its vitamin E content also helps to rejuvenate skin and provides defence against free radicals. In addition, it is ideal for oily and acne-prone skin because it absorbs accumulated sebum and helps minimise breakouts.

KENDI OIL Eco

Extraction: this oil is extracted from the cold pressed seeds of Aleurites Moluccanus, a tree native to Malaysia and the Pacific Islands. It is commonly used in Indonesian cooking.

Benefits: its fatty acid contains a high linoleic, oleic and linolenic acid content. This ingredient has excellent organoleptic properties. It penetrates quickly into the skin, moisturising and softening it without a greasy finish.

HAZELNUT OIL

Extraction: it is obtained by extracting the virgin oil of cold pressed hazelnuts.

Benefits: hazelnut oil helps skin maintain elasticity and firmness thanks to its astringent effects. It is also an excellent moisturizer, antioxidant and skin regenerating agent. It contains various nutrients that are beneficial to the skin and its light texture does not leave any greasy residue making it suitable for sensitive skin.

CRAMBE ABYSSINICA

Obtainment: Crambe oil is obtained from Crambe abyssinica seeds, a plant native to the Mediterranean area.

Benefits: Acts directly on the epidermis creating a delicate film that imparts comfort and protection to the skin. It is also an excellent moisturising agent.

MACADAMIA OIL

Extraction: cold-pressed from the macadamia nut. It is a vegetable oil rich in oleic acids, vitamin E and sterols (providing soothing and calming actions). Theese nuts are rich in OMEGA-7 fats.

Benefits: it makes your hair look younger without plugging the pores, similar to the sebacious fats produced by the human body itself. It is perfect to regenerate split ends and acts as an anti-frizz. Hydrates, repairs and strengthens the hair avoiding hair loss.

AVOCADO OIL

Extraction: this vegetable oil is obtained by cold pressing the pulp and pit to extract the fruit’s natural virgin oils. Is is rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, proteins and minerals and contains high concentrations of vitamins E, A, B2, B3.

Benefits: its protective and regenerative effect protect the skin from external agents. Studies have shown that it helps reduce dermatitis and to speed up the healing process. It improves the hydration of dry, cracked and damaged skin and also acts as an emulsifier.

RASPBERRY

Extraction: this ingredient is the oily extract of raspberry, the fruit of a wild plant known as Rubus Idaeus, of the family Rosaceae. It lives naturally in stony places or in granite soils of humid forests. It is orignary from Asia Minor, however, it is a plant that commonly grows temperate or cold climate areas.

Benefits: it contains vitamins A, D and E, and omega 3 and 6. It has moisturising and emollient properties. It repairs and protects all skin types, being very suitable for sensitive skin.

ROSEHIP OIL Eco

Extraction: this vegetable oil is extracted from the seeds of a shrub called Rosa moschata, cultivated in Chile and Argentina.

Benefits: it is one of the oils essential in any skin care regimen. It has the capacity to effectively treat scars, stretch marks and skin flaccidity. This is due to its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, containing up to 49% linoleic acid and 34% linolenic acid which are directly related to the synthesis of collagen. It is also rich in vitamins E and K.

CALENDULA

Extraction: this extract is obtained from the calendula flower, an aromatic plant form the Asteraceas family.

Benefits: calendula is a powerful agent used to treat scars and stretchmarks. It stimulates the body’s natural healing action, regenerates damaged skin and allows the body to produce more collagen (vital to skin recovery). It also works as a nourishing moisturizer and has anti-inflammatory, soothing and protective properties.

QUINOA

Extraction: quinoa extract is obtained from its seeds. Although it is not a cereal, it is used as such in many dishes of the Andean area, from which it is originated. In the Peruvian and Bolivian Andes it has always been used also for therapeutic purposes.

Benefits: it has an amino acid composition similar to that of other cereals, but has a higher amount of methionine, arginine, histidine, lysine and threonine. It is composed of unsaturated lipids and vitamins. It is suitable for all skin types, but is particularly indicated for irritated or sensitive skin. It helps to restore hydration and nourishes skin.

SQUALENE

Extraction: it is the hydrogenated version of squalene. It is an aliphatic triterpene extracted from rice bran, wheat germ and green olives. It has a 100% natural origin.

Benefits: it is a natural component of the skin and a good emollient and sebum restorer. It is used in regenerative treatments for dry skin. It has antioxidant properties and stimulates the immune system.

ROSEMARY

Extraction: rosemary is an aromatic, woody, evergreen shrub with many small branches. It can grow up to 2 meters in height. It grows on all types of soils, preferably dry, somewhat sandy and permeable soils. Its extract is obtained from the rosemary leaves via a maceration process.

Benefits: this rosemary extract provides significant anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties thanks to its high concentration of rosmarinic acid, which is used to treat sensitive and irritated skin. On the other hand, its carnosic acid and carnosol content act as antimicrobial agents, protecting against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. In general, this extract has a remarkable antiseptic and astringent properties which help to repair and strengthen hair growth from root to tip.

OATS

Extraction: Oats are a very nutritious cereal rich in vitamins and minerals. They contain important dermo-cosmetic qualities. 

Benefits: Powerful cleaning action, they absorb all dirt and debris accumulated in the pores. They help care for the skin naturally by helping maintain a regulated pH due to its high protein content. They also help prevent skin dehydration thanks to the their high content of lipids and water absorbing properties. Oats help protect skin from external aggressions while maintaining its protective barrier. Additionally, they help promote the healing of wounds and work to soothe skin with anti-inflammatory, emollient and moisturizing properties.

SOYBEAN OIL

Extraction: it is obtained directly from the seeds of soybeans, a legume rich in proteins with great energetic and nutritional value. This oil high in vitamins (A, B6, B12 and K), calcium, magnesium and potassium.

Benefits: it is high in antioxidants and has moisturizing and firming properties. It also works to stimulate cell regeneration and sometimes works as a surfactant. It easily penetrates deep into skin to stimulate the synthesis of collagen, elastin and other proteins that help keep skin firm.

ORYZANOL

Extraction: it is the antioxidant present in rice oil which is obtained by cold pressing the rice grains.

Benefits: rice extract gets its antioxidant properties form its oryzanol content; its properties are used in cosmetics as a sunscreen.

VITAMIN E

Extraction: tocopherol or vitamin E, is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturizes and helps keep skin firm. For hair care, Holy Basil helps improve the blood circulation in the scalp which stimulates hair growth and helps to condition hair and provide shine.

BETA-SITOSTEROL

Extraction: fatty acid from vegetable origin. Beta-Sitosterol is naturally produced in many fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. It is similar to cholesterol, which occurs naturally in the skin and is considered part of the intercellular matrix of the skin.

Benefits: it provides a lot of hydration and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.
