Hydrogenated Castor Oil Behenyl Esters

Obtained: Natural waxes alternative to paraffins, derived from olives. They are obtained by esterification of olive oil with a fatty alcohol and subsequent distillation of the resulting olive esters.

Benefits: Moisturising properties, less occlusive than synthetic waxes, and non-irritating. Thanks to their low molecular weight, they offer a smooth texture.
