WATER

COCONUT ALKANES

Sourcing: Extracted from coconut fatty acids through a hydrogenation process. 

Benefits: As a natural alternative to conventional silicones, it acts as an emollient. It also creates a barrier on the skin, preventing the loss of moisture, keeping it soft and properly moisturised.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT VEGAN HYALURONIC ACID

Extraction: the low molecular weight hyaluronic acid has plant-derived origins and is obtained by a biotechnological process. It is naturally found in the dermis of the skin, so the application of this acid on our skin will not irritate or damage it.

BETA-SITOSTEROL

Extraction: Lecithin is a natural mixture of diglycerides and phosphoric acid that is obtained from some seeds such as soybeans. Its appearance varies from a waxy mass to a thick liquid.

Benefits: lecithin and hydrogenated lecithin improve the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring elasticity. They increase water retention, thereby reducing loss of hydration. These ingredients also help form non-ionic emulsions by reducing the substances’ surface tension.

ACMELLA EXTRACT

Sourcing: Extract obtained from the Acmella Oleracea plant from South Africa and Madagascar, harvested by hand to preserve the natural development of the plant. 

Benefits: An extract rich in alkylamides that stimulate fibroblast activity, provides support to the collagen fibre network and restores firmness and smoothness to the skin. It has tightening and strengthening properties for the structure of the dermis.

SODIUM BICARBONATE

Sourcing: Sodium bicarbonate is naturally present in minerals. 

Benefits: Used in cosmetics for its exfoliating properties and antibacterial power.

VITAMIN E

Extraction: tocopherol or vitamin E, is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturizes and helps keep skin firm. For hair care, Holy Basil helps improve the blood circulation in the scalp which stimulates hair growth and helps to condition hair and provide shine.

RED IRON OXIDE

Obtainment: Pigment of mineral origin.

Benefits: Acts as a red coloring.

TITANIUM DIOXIDE

Extraction: the titanium dioxide included in this formulation is from natural mineral origin, it is obtained from the rutile mineral.

Benefits: it has the ability to act as a solar protector reflecting and scattering radiations. It acts in the skin in a superficial way as a mirror, adding an effective barrier against sun rays. Its protection power is highly effective against UVA radiations, visible lighting and IR. It also acts as a dye or opacifier, thanks to its pure white colour.

DILINOLEIC ACID/PROPANEDIOL COPOLYMER

Sourcing: It’s a 100% active vegetable polyester derived from 1,3 propanediol and dimer dilinoleic acid. Linoleic acid is the main component in many vegetable oils such as argan oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, olive oil and rapeseed oil.

Benefits: Propanediol and dilinoleic acid have binding properties and give products a glossy appearance. What’s more, it has an emollient effect and is a viscosity-controlling agent.

TRIPELARGONIN

Extraction: esters of plant-derived origin 100% biodegradable.

Benefits: It is an emulsifying agent that improves pigment dispersion in natural formulations and provides a softening effect.

CAPRYLIC / CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE

Extraction: derived from Coconut Oil and Glycerin, is considered an excellent emollient and skin repairing agent. It is a mix of fatty acids. It is not considered a sensitizing agent.

Benefits: it repairs the surface of the skin and prevents the loss of moisture and also works to thicken skin. They are neutral oils that do not irritate the skin, are easy to apply and are quickly absorbed.

DIMER DILINOLEYL DIMER DILINOLEATE

Extraction: Oily polymer obtained from rapeseed and sunflower oil

Benefits: It creates a film on the hair that cancels out electrical charges with wet hair. It eases styling, gives softness, hydration and shine. Provides an excellent final touch and control of split ends and hair breakage.

SACHA INCHI OIL

Extraction: it is a semi-woody and perennial plant, of the euphorbiaceous family, originally from the Amazon. It is traditionally used in food and medicine for its excellent composition of proteins, amino acids, essential fatty acids (omegas 3, 6, and 9) and vitamin E.

Benefits: it has a high content of alpha-linoleic, linoleic and oleic acids and an exclusive amount of tocopherols. It improves the barrier function of the skin and regulates its keratinization process, protecting the cell membrane and reducing the transepidermal water loss.

JOJOBA OIL Eco

Extraction: jojoba oil is extracted from the jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) nut (seed). Actually, it functions more like a wax that is liquid at room temperature than an oil. 96% of its composition consists of ceramides.

Benefits: highly moisturizing and nourishing. Ceramides cover the cells of the epidermis and to help regulate and intensify hydration. They are very similar to human skin, which is why they are absorbed and act quickly and are not oily to the touch. Jojoba oil also contains linoleic acid which is a very effective at restructuring and regenerating natural skin. Its vitamin E content also helps to rejuvenate skin and provides defence against free radicals. In addition, it is ideal for oily and acne-prone skin because it absorbs accumulated sebum and helps minimise breakouts. 

MACADAMIA OIL

Extraction: cold-pressed from the macadamia nut. It is a vegetable oil rich in oleic acids, vitamin E and sterols (providing soothing and calming actions). Theese nuts are rich in OMEGA-7 fats.

Benefits: it makes your hair look younger without plugging the pores, similar to the sebacious fats produced by the human body itself. It is perfect to regenerate split ends and acts as an anti-frizz. Hydrates, repairs and strengthens the hair avoiding hair loss.

APRICOT KERNEL OIL

Sourcing: Oil squeezed from the kernel of the apricot, a tree that grows mainly in Central Asia and the Mediterranean coast.                                                                                         

Benefits: Apricot kernel oil penetrates easily into the skin and is easily absorbed without leaving a shiny or greasy residue. It contains omega 6, omega 9 and oleic acid which improve the skin's appearance by providing softness and hydration. It reinforces the skin barrier and has a high antioxidant power that prevents premature ageing and damage caused by free radicals. It also has anti-inflammatory, soothing and regenerating properties. Extraction: sunflower oil is obtained from Helianthus Annus sunflower seeds.

Sourcing: Punica granatum is a sacred tree from Western Asia. Its flowers are known for fighting erythema and for their medicinal and astringent properties.

Benefits: It’s a very rich source of polyphenols, flavonoids, terpenoids and steroids. It has great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. When used on the lips, it has great healing and repairing properties. It nourishes, making the lips look healthy, full and plump.

POLYGLYCERYL-3 DIISOSTEARATE

Extraction: It is a natural emulsifiable obtained from glycerin and stearic acid.

Benefits: It is used in oily external fase cream formulations and allows to properly emulsify the physical filters in sunscreens.

Extraction: it is the hydrogenated version of squalene. It is an aliphatic triterpene extracted from rice bran, wheat germ and green olives. It has a 100% natural origin.

SOYBEAN OIL

Extraction: it is obtained directly from the seeds of soybeans, a legume rich in proteins with great energetic and nutritional value. This oil high in vitamins (A, B6, B12 and K), calcium, magnesium and potassium.

Benefits: it is high in antioxidants and has moisturizing and firming properties. It also works to stimulate cell regeneration and sometimes works as a surfactant. It easily penetrates deep into skin to stimulate the synthesis of collagen, elastin and other proteins that help keep skin firm.

Extraction: Capsaicin is a molecule from various species of the Capsicum genus plant.

LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT VEGAN HYALURONIC ACID

Extraction: the low molecular weight hyaluronic acid has plant-derived origins and is obtained by a biotechnological process. It is naturally found in the dermis of the skin, so the application of this acid on our skin will not irritate or damage it.

Benefits: works on the tight joints between cells.
