OLEIC/LINOLEIC/LINOLENIC POLYGLYCERIDES

Benefits: Acts as a co-emulsifier, moisturiser and anti-wrinkle ingredient in cosmetic formula.

PASSION FRUIT NATURAL AROMA

Extraction: The passion fruit natural aroma is obtained by cold-pressing Pasiflora edulis plant seeds.

Extraction: Tropical and exotic fragrance that is perceived immediately because it is very volatile. This aroma has a powerful calming effect. 

GLYCERYL STEARATE

Extraction: this ingredient is derived from glycerin and stearic acid, a fatty acid obtained from vegetable oils. It is found naturally in the human body so it will not damage skin.

Benefits: acts as a lubricant on the skin’s surface to give it a soft, smooth and light appearance. It also slows down water loss by forming a protective barrier and protects skin against the damage caused by free radicals. CRAMBE ABYSSINICA

Obtainment: Crambe oil is obtained from Crambe abyssinica seeds, a plant native to the Mediterranean area.

MURUMURU BUTTER

Obtainment: Murumuru shortening is obtained by cold-pressing the seeds of the native murumuru palm of Brazil (Astrocaryum murumuru).

BABASSU OIL Eco

Extraction: the Babassu palm is an Amazonian species that can reach up to 20 meters in height. This vegetable oil is extracted from the seeds of the babassu palm. The oil is a powerful antioxidant and natural firming agent with properties similar to those of coconut oil.

Benefits: it is a non-greasy butter that is absorbs quickly into skin and has excellent smoothing and moisturizing properties. Extraction: this vegetable oil is obtained from the seeds of the marula tree, a wild species native to southern Africa.

It is especially suitable for dry and damaged skin. It is rich in vitamin C, strengthens the lipid barrier of the skin and protects it from harmful environmental damage.

CUPUAÇU BUTTER

Obtainment: cupuaçu butter is obtained by cold-pressing the seeds of cupuaçu fruits (Theobroma grandiflorum), a tropical tree native to the Amazon rainforest that belongs to the same family as cocoa.

Benefits: this butter has a nutritional power 1.5 times superior to shea butter, it is emollient, moisturising, and absorbs water easily. It has a composition rich in unsaturated fatty acids, plant polyphenols and sterols that provide protection and hydration. It is also rich in B vitamins and vitamin C.

BETA-SITOSTEROL

Extraction: fatty acid from vegetable origin. Beta-Sitosterol is naturally produced in many fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. It is similar to cholesterol, which occurs naturally in the skin and is considered part of the intercellular matrix of the skin.

Benefits: it provides a lot of hydration and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.

SQUALENE

Extraction: it is the hydrogenated version of squalene. It is an aliphatic triterpene extracted from rice bran, wheat germ and green olives. It has a 100% natural origin.

Benefits: it is a natural component of the skin and a good emollient and sebum restorer. It is used in regenerative treatments for dry skin. It has antioxidant properties and stimulates the immune system.

ROSEMARY

Extraction: rosemary is an aromatic, woody, evergreen shrub with many small branches. It can grow up to 2 meters in height. It grows on all types of soils, preferably dry, somewhat sandy and permeable soils. Its extract is obtained from the rosemary leaves via a maceration process.

Benefits: this rosemary extract provides significant anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties thanks to its high concentration of rosmarinic acid, which is used to treat sensitive and irritated skin. On the other hand, its carnosic acid and carnosol content act as antimicrobial agents, protecting against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. In general, this extract has a remarkable antiseptic and astringent properties which help to repair and strengthen hair growth from root to tip.

Hydrogenated Castor Oil Behenyl Esters

Obtained: Natural waxes alternative to paraffins, derived from olives. They are obtained by esterification of olive oil with a fatty alcohol and subsequent distillation of the resulting olive esters.

Benefits: Moisturising properties, less occlusive than synthetic waxes, and non-irritating. Thanks to their low molecular weight, they offer a smooth texture.

WATER

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL

Sourcing: Castor oil is an amber-colored vegetable oil that is obtained from the cold pressing of the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. The castor plant is found in India, Africa and in some parts of South America, although it's currently consumed mostly in the United States.

Benefits: It acts as an emollient agent as it is highly moisturizing and softening. ALOE VERA EXTRACT

LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT VEGAN HYALURONIC ACID

Extraction: the low molecular weight hyaluronic acid has plant-derived origins and is obtained by a biotechnological process. It is naturally found in the dermis of the skin, so the application of this acid on our skin will not irritate or damage it.

Benefits: in cosmetics, acacia gum is used as a thickener because of its texture, which forms a gel in contact with water and a film in contact with air. 

XANTHAN GUM

Extraction: natural polysaccharide of high natural weight derived from the fermentation of carbohydrates such as glucose or corn syrup.

Benefits: it is used as a binder, emulsion stabilizer and skin conditioning agent in a wide variety of cosmetics and personal care products. 1% of xanthan gum is used for cosmetic formulations.

TITANIUM DIOXIDE

Extraction: the titanium dioxide included in this formulation is from natural mineral origin, it is obtained from the rutile mineral.

Benefits: it has the ability to act as a solar protector reflecting and scattering radiations. It acts in the skin in a superficial way as a mirror, adding an effective barrier against sun rays. Its protection power is highly effective against UVA radiations, visible lighting and IR. It also acts as a dye or opacifier, thanks to its pure white colour.

Extraction: Chicory or endive is a herbaceous plant of the asteraceous family, originally from Africa, Asia and Europe. It is used in gastronomy, infusions, salads. Since the Middle Ages it has been used in medicine to treat diseases of the digestive system and liver.

Benefits: the oligosaccharides obtained from chicory root act by forming a film on the surface of the skin, smoothing it out and eliminating expression lines, with a lifting effect. While they rejuvenate the skin, they also give it radiance.

PENTYLENE GLYCOL

Extraction: natural pentylene glycol is obtained from renewable plant-based sources such as sugar cane or maize.

Benefits: commonly used in moisturising creams and lotions for its hydrating properties, which help retain moisture in the skin. It also has antibacterial and preservative effects, helping other active ingredients act better on the skin.

HEMISQUALANE

Extraction: it's obtained from sugar cane, a minority fraction rich in hemisqualane is extracted from the fermentation process of sugar for food use. It is an alternative to petrochemical hydrocarbons and also has better sensory characteristics. 

Benefits: improves spreadability, application and sensoriality of products without clogging the skin.

HYDROLYSED COLLAGEN

Obtention: Biotechnological process, from a collagen DNA sequence, copies of the human collagen protein are synthesised. Subsequently, this collagen is hydrolysed in order to have a final product with a smaller molecular weight. Which allows the active ingredient to better penetrate the dermis. 

Benefits: Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, whose main function is to create and maintain the structures that generate firmness to the skin. The active ingredient Hydrolysed Collagen has a DNA sequence identical to that of the human COL1A2 gene.

AMINOBUTRYC ACID

Extraction: highly-pure gamma-aminobutyric acid is obtained by microbiological fermentation, using ECOCERT certified technologies.

Benefits: this non-protein amino acid participates in many regulatory processes of the organism of plants and animals. When it decrease due to age or psychological pressure, it generates a tendency to negative emotions, which translates in loss of elasticity of skin. By externally providing aminobutyric acid, a relaxing effect is produced on muscles responsible of producing expression lines. Extraction: natural polysaccharide produced by the fungus Aureobasidium.

GOTU KOLA

Extraction: medicinal plant, also known as Gotu kokla or tiger grass, which is popularly used for the treatment of surgical injuries. It has excellent properties for skin.

Benefits: supports healing thanks to its content in triterpene derivatives that stimulate the formation of fibroblasts. This is why it is used to treat wounds and to reduce the appearance of recent scars. BLACK ACACIA SEED EXTRACT

Obtained: The extract is obtained from the seed of the Black Acacia tree, also known as Gleditsia Triacanthos.

Sourcing: extract from the pod of Caesalpina Spinosa, a tree native to Peru.

Benefits: a rich source of bioactive compounds (flavonoids, polyphenols and tannins) known as chemoprotectants, with powerful antioxidant, firming and anti-ageing activity. Protects against free radical damage caused by exposure to UV light, reducing the risk of premature ageing.

CAESALPINA SPINOSA GUM

Extraction: 100% vegetable material derived from the endosperm of the Caesalpinia spinosa plant, native to Peru.

Benefits: works as a thickening agent, emulsion stabilizer and texturizer in cosmetic products.

ELKHORN SEA MOSS

Extraction: poppyseed oil is extracted from the virgin pressing the seeds of the poppy, an angiosperm plant.

Benefits: poppyseed oil has nourishing, moisturizing and restructuring properties. JOJOBA OIL Eco

Extraction: jojoba oil is extracted from the jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) nut (seed). Actually, it functions more like a wax that is liquid at room temperature than an oil. 96% of its composition consists of ceramides.

Benefits: highly moisturizing and nourishing. Ceramides cover the cells of the epidermis and to help regulate and intensify hydration. They are very similar to human skin, which is why they are absorbed and act quickly and are not oily to the touch. Jojoba oil also contains linoleic acid which is a very effective at restructuring and regenerating natural skin. ROSEHIP OIL

Sourcing: This vegetable oil is extracted from the seeds of a shrub called rosa moschata, grown in Chile and Argentina.

Benefits: It is one of the essential oils for skin care. It has a high power to treat scars, stretch marks and skin flaccidity. This is due to its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, containing up to 49% linoleic acid and 34% linolenic acid, directly related to the synthesis of collagen. It is also rich in vitamins A, C and E.

MARULA OIL

Extraction: this vegetable oil is obtained from the seeds of the marula tree, a wild species native to southern Africa.

Benefits: This oil, known as the "African miracle", moisturizes, nourishes, revitalizes and provides antioxidants (it has 16% more antioxidants than other oils such as argan). It is especially suitable for dry and damaged skin. It is rich in vitamin C, strengthens the lipid barrier of the skin and protects it from harmful environmental damage.

GRAPEFRUIT

Extraction: grapefruit is a fresh fruit that contains unique phytochemicals known as bioflavonoids. These compounds help promote skin and overall health.

Grapefruit extracts are especially beneficial for people who are prone to dandruff, acne, impetigo (bacterial infection of the skin) or skin rashes. SOYBEAN OIL

PEAR

Extraction: this extract is obtained from the pear fruit.

Benefits: pear helps preserve tissues’ vitality. This fruit is rich in antioxidants, vitamins C and E, beta carotenes and zinc. It is effective for use in the treatment of oily or acne-prone skin and provides long-lasting hydration in dry skin.

ASTAXANTHIN

Extraction: extracted from the freshwater microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. It is the primary food source for flamingos, salmon and prawns, hence their characteristic reddish color.

Benefits: it is the most powerful antioxidant that exists in nature. It has antioxidant power 1,000 times stronger than that of Coenzyme Q10 and 65 times stronger than Vitamin C. This carotenoid is used for repairing skin damage and to prevent premature ageing. It is a natural anti-inflammatory, promotes hydration and protects against solar radiation.

SAFFLOWER OIL

Extraction: safflower is a herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family. The oil obtained from the cold pressing of its seeds is used as food and natural colouring.

Benefits: it contains a high concentration of linoleic acid and vitamin K, which help to treat irritated or tired skin. It is a dry oil, which penetrates quickly into the skin, hydrating it without greasing it.

VITAMIN E

Extraction: tocopherol or vitamin E, is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturizes and helps keep skin firm. For hair care, Holy Basil helps improve the blood circulation in the scalp which stimulates hair growth and helps to condition hair and provide shine.

BETA-SITOSTEROL

Extraction: fatty acid from vegetable origin. Beta-Sitosterol is naturally produced in many fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. It is similar to cholesterol, which occurs naturally in the skin and is considered part of the intercellular matrix of the skin.

Benefits: it provides a lot of hydration and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.

ROSE

Extraction: this extract is obtained from the petals of the rose.

Benefits: roses are beneficial for the skin for many reasons. Their extract functions as a tonic, softener, sebum regulator, anti-aging and flavoring agent. It is effective for use in products that treat oxidative processes of the skin or for acne prone skin.

SANDALWOOD

Extraction: it is extracted distilling the freshly cut wood of the Santulum album tree, native to India.

Benefits: it contains large amounts of alfa and beta-santalol, molecules with antibacterial properties. It helps sooth, moisturize and regenerate dry and damaged skin leaving it feeling soft and helping to improve its overall texture. Prevents the signs of premature aging, helps eliminate scars and stretch marks, acts as a fungicide and functions as an aphrodisiac. 

SQUALENE

Extraction: it is the hydrogenated version of squalene. It is an aliphatic triterpene extracted from rice bran, wheat germ and green olives. It has a 100% natural origin.

Benefits: its action combined with red iron oxide determines the copper brown colour of the products that contain it.

STANNOUS OXIDE

Extraction: it is an inorganic compound of natural mineral origin that usually occurs as a white or almost white powder.

Benefits: it controls the density and viscosity of a product, it also has a mattifying action, reducing shines.

SILICA

Extraction: silicon dioxide (SiO₂), commonly known as silica, is a main component of sand. It is a mineral obtained via the purification of quartz.

Benefits: works in cosmetics products as a thickening agent with an amorphous structure. It is also used as an anti-agglomerate or absorbent.

RED IRON OXIDE

Obtainment: Pigment of mineral origin.

Benefits: Acts as a red coloring.

LIMONENE

Extraction: it is a monoterpene of natural origin that is found in many citrus fruits such as lemon. It is a colorless liquid with a light, fresh and sweet citrus aroma.

Benefits: widely used to make fragrances and flavors. It is a main component of many essential oils.

HYDROXYCITRONELLAL

Extraction: ingredient with floral aroma found in citric essential oils.

Benefits: it is used as an aromatic substance.

LINALOOL

Extraction: monoterpene with floral aroma and a touch of menthol. This natural fragrance, is sweet and smooth. It is produced by a wide variety of plants such as mint, cinnamon, citrus fruits and birch trees.

BENZYL ALCOHOL

Extraction: benzyl alcohol is a mild preservative widely used in cosmetics for products with an aqueous base. It is produced by fermenting sugary plant solutions and is approved by the certifier “Ecocert”.

Benefits: prevents cosmetics and personal care products from deteriorating and becoming contaminated by preventing the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. It works as an antiseptic, astringent and freshener.

CITRONELLOL

Extraction: colorless oily liquid with a light floral scent with hints of rose that occurs naturally in some plants. It is a monoterpene that is part of the natural essential oils.

Benefits: it forms part of the natural fragrances found in cosmetics and personal care products.

CITRAL

Extraction: also known as geranial, is a natural compound with lemon citrus aroma. It comes from the essential oils of a series of plants that include: lemon grass, lemon myrtle, lemon and orange blossom.

Benefits: it is used in perfumes as a natural component of essential oils. It is refreshing, rich in vitamins, stimulates microcirculation and nurtures tissues.

WATER

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

Benefits: water helps to cleanse the body. Hydrates and improves the effect of other active ingredients, provides softness and delays premature aging of the skin.

PENTYLENE GLYCOL

Extraction: natural pentylene glycol is obtained from renewable plant-based sources such as sugar cane or maize.

Benefits: commonly used in moisturising creams and lotions for its hydrating properties, which help retain moisture in the skin. It also has antibacterial and preservative effects, helping other active ingredients act better on the skin.

PROPANEDIOL

Extraction: 100% natural ingredient obtained from sugarcane and approved by Ecocert. It is biodegradable, making it the perfect natural alternative to petroleum glycols.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics as a moisturizing agent, solvent and emollient. Its sensory properties help reduce skin irritations. They also control viscosity.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

ISOMALT

ARGININE

Extraction: arginine is an amino acid obtained by biofermentation. It is one of the main components of hair keratin. Acts as a source of nitrogen for proper cell function, generating a vasodilator effect that improves blood circulation.

Benefits: used in many formulas as a natural stabiliser, much safer than conventional alkaline agents, it is known for its effectiveness in fighting hair loss. It is biodegradable.

CAESALPINA SPINOSA GUM

Extraction: 100% vegetable material derived from the endosperm of the Caesalpinia spinosa plant, native to Peru.

Benefits: works as a thickening agent, emulsion stabilizer and texturizer in cosmetic products.

CONDITIONING MEDIUM OF TURMERIC"

Extraction: turmeric is a tropical and subtropical plant, characterised by its orange rhizomes, highly branched and cylindrical. This rhizome is a modified root, which acts as a storage and resistance organ.

POLYGLYCERYL-6 CAPRYLATE / CAPRATE

Extraction: caprylic acid monoester, a saturated fatty acid with antifungal properties, and Polyglycerin-6. It is a natural, biodegradable ingredient approved by Ecocert.

Benefits: acts as a skin conditioner, emollient, solubilizer and emulsifying agent.

LACTIC ACID

Extraction: lactic acid is used to balance the pH of cosmetic products.

Benefits: this ingredient allows cosmetics to be milder for skin and hair.

GELLAN GUM

Extraction: it is a microbial gum obtained from the aerobic fermentation of glucose or lactose. It is also known as a microbiological gelling agent.

Benefits: it does not suffer alterations in its properties with changes in temperature. It acts as a suspending agent and emulsifier, keeping the oil and water phases together at all times.

PHYTIC ACID

Extraction: it is an organic acid that contains phosphorous present in plants, especially in seeds and fibre.

Benefits: it reduces wrinkles that are extinguished by the underlying layer of the skin. In the same way, it hydrates and accelerates the natural peeling process of the skin, exfoliating deeply. It is also a chelating agent.

FOSFATIDILCOLINA

SODIUM LEVULINATE

Extraction: Sodium Levulinate is a 100% natural preservative obtained from starch and vegetal inulin.
