WATER

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

Benefits: water helps to cleanse the body. Hydrates and improves the effect of other active ingredients, provides softness and delays premature aging of the skin.

DISODIUM COCOYL GLUTAMATE

Extraction: It is obtained from coconut oil and fermented sugar. This surfactant is one of the most gentle and respectful to the skin so it is tolerated by all types of skins.

Benefits: In addition to being an excellent cleaner and foam generator, it is also eco-friendly.

BETAINA

Sourcing : Derived from sugar beet roots.

Benefits: It is a mild surfactant. Provides immediate and long-term hydration and moisturising. Manages the skin's water balance and strengthens the skin barrier. Protects the skin barrier from surfactants.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

COCO BETAINE

Extraction: Coconut betaine is an amphoteric surfactant of natural origin (derived from coconut).  

Benefits: Improves lather and has antistatic properties in hair care.

COCO GLUCOSIDE

Extraction: non-ionic surfactant and co-surfactant of vegetable origin, biodegradable and very suitable for use in shampoos and shower gels. It is obtained from renewable raw materials such as coconut oil and the sugar found in fruits.

Benefits: it reduces the potential for irritation caused by surfactants and improves hair styling, in addition to softening it.

GLYCERYL OLEATE

Extraction: natural monoester derived from glycerol and oleic acid. Creates water-oil emulsions where water is the most abundant compound, but it can also be used as a co-emulsifier and thickener for formulations where the composition is mostly oil.

Benefits: it is used as an emulsifier and non-ionic co-surfactant in various skin and hair care products. Leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth.

POTASSIUM COCOYL RICE AMINO ACIDS

Extraction: vegetal origin sufractant and co-sufractant, biodegradable and commonly accepted in shampoo and shower gel making. It is obtained from coconut oil and rice oil.

Benefits: it takes care of gently cleaning and reducing irritation chances from other aggressive sufractants. It produces small bubbles.

TREHALOSE

Extraction: trehalose is a sugar synthesized by plants, bacteria and fungi and is used in personal care products to provide moisture and fragrance.

Benefits: allows the skin to retain moisture and to stay healthy and hydrated. It is renowned as a rehydrating agent for its potent antioxidant properties.

POLYGLYCERYL-3 BETAINATE ACETATE

Sourcing:  Glycerin ester and amino acid derived from sugar beet. 

Benefits: It is an active conditioner that provides an excellent moisturising, softening and anti-frizz effect to the hair.

LAURYL LACTYL LACTATE

Extraction: it is obtained from lauryl alcohol and lactic acid through an esterification process. Lauryl alcohol is obtained from palm oil. And lactic acid is one of the natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs).  

Benefits: Provides moisture and improves the oil content of the skin. It provides a soft and getle feeling and forms a protective layer on the skin that locks moisture inside. It cleanses the skin without drying it out.

CRAMBE ABYSSINICA

Obtainment: Crambe oil is obtained from Crambe abyssinica seeds, a plant native to the Mediterranean area.

TRIOLEIN

Extraction: Triolein, also known as triolein, is a triglyceride of oleic acid and represents 4-30% of olive oil. It is also found in almond oil.

Benefits: moisturising agent, it is also used as a controlling agent of the product's viscosity.

ACEITE DE PIEL DE NARANJA

Obtención: Fruto del naranjo. Se utiliza la cáscara de la naranja por sus propiedades cosméticas.

Beneficios: Rica en vitamina C y flavonoides. Favorece la formación de colágeno, aclara manchas y previene la aparición de nuevos brotes de acné. Presenta propiedades antioxidantes que proporcionan protección frente los radicales libres, conocidos por causar signos del envejecimiento. También le da brillo natural a la piel.

VITAMIN E

Extraction: tocopherol or vitamin E, is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturizes and helps keep skin firm. XANTHAN GUM

Extraction: natural polysaccharide of high natural weight derived from the fermentation of carbohydrates such as glucose or corn syrup.

Benefits: it is used as a binder, emulsion stabilizer and skin conditioning agent in a wide variety of cosmetics and personal care products. 1% of xanthan gum is used for cosmetic formulations.

GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE

Extraction: Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is a derivative of guar seeds. It is a type of galactomannan, a polysaccharide, which forms a viscous gel called guar gum when mixed with cold water.  

Benefits: Often used as an antistatic and conditioning agent for hair or skin; it also increases the viscosity of cosmetics.

HYDROGENATED PALM GLYCERIDES CITRATE

Extraction: oily liquid derived from vegetable oils and citric acid.

Benefits: it is used as an antioxidant, emollient and skin conditioner.

VEGETABLE OIL

Obtenció: Oli d'origen vegetal compost principalment per triglicèrids d'àcids grassos.

Extraction: citric acid is a weak organic acid found in fruits such as lemons and oranges. Lemon juice contains approximately 5-8% citric acid.

Benefits: citric acid and its salts: Diammonium, Potassium and Sodium help to preserve cosmetics since they are metal chelating agents. Citric acid and its salts are also added to cosmetics to help regulate the acid / base levels. Functions as a powerful antioxidant and helps to regulate and maintain skin’s hydration and elasticity.

Extraction: is the potassium salt of sorbic acid that occurs naturally in mountain berries (Sorbus aucuparia).

Benefits: acts as a preservative, protecting cosmetics from deterioration by preventing or delaying the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. This compound is easily metabolized by the body and produces water and CO2, therefore it is completely harmless.

LIMONENE

Extraction: it is a monoterpene of natural origin that is found in many citrus fruits such as lemon. It is a colorless liquid with a light, fresh and sweet citrus aroma.

Benefits: widely used to make fragrances and flavors. It is a main component of many essential oils.

LINALOOL

Extraction: monoterpene with floral aroma and a touch of menthol. This natural fragrance, is sweet and smooth. It is produced by a wide variety of plants such as mint, cinnamon, citrus fruits and birch trees.

Sourcing: Vegan ingredient of vegetable origin, mainly vegetable oils.

Benefits: these alcohols have the ability to prevent emulsions from separating between their oily and watery parts. These ingredients are also used to alter the thickness of liquid products, to increase foam capacity or to stabilize them.

ARACHIDYL/BEHENYL BETAINATE ESYLATE

Extraction: It is plant-based source such as corn.  

Benefits: It is used in cosmetics as an emulsifier. It is also used as a thickener, to increase the foamability of a product or to improve foam stability. It softens the skin, and it leaves a non-greasy feeling after application."

SODIUM LACTATE

Extraction: it is produced by fermentation of a sugar source, such as corn or beetroot.  

Benefits: it is a humectant; it hydrates the skin by keeping water in the deepest layers of the skin. Helps prevent water loss and supplies a feeling of elasticity. It works as a keratolytic agent, which means it helps remove dead cells from the skin's surface, contributing to its overall healthy functions and helping to improve skin problems such as keratosis pilaris, rough texture, and dry and dull skin.

UNDECANE

Extraction: it is derived from natural mineral sources.  

Benefits: forms a light, fresh and fast spreading emollient derived from 100% renewable raw materials. A sustainably sourced alternative to silicone, it helps products apply easily, absorb quickly and leave a soft and dry feeling on the skin.

SIBYBUM MARIANUM ETHYL ESTER

Extraction: Milk thistle oil. An herbaceous plant that grows in dry, sunny soils.

Benefits: Milk thistle ester is high in Omega 6, which provides skin barrier protection. It is also used as a natural alternative to silicones. 

KAOLIN

Extraction: kaolin is a clay mineral that can be white, beige or pink, depending on where it is extracted.

Benefits: it allows to give consistency to a product. It has sebum regulating properties, being able to absorb skin impurities. Its detoxifying effect and its antiseptic capacity make it ideal to be introduced into products to purify skin.

HYDROLYZED CHESTNUT EXTRACT

Extraction: water-soluble extract obtained from organic Italian chestnut flour. It contains the components naturally present in the flour; solubilized thanks to the specific extraction process. It is particularly rich in water-soluble carbohydrates and more complex enzymatically hydrolysed polysaccharide fractions together with small peptides and minerals.  

Benefits: it has film-forming and protective activity, favours the maintenance of healthy skin and hair.

HYDROLYZED VEGETABLE PROTEIN

Obtaining: obtained from plant-derived protein hydrolysates from wheat, corn, soybeans and peas.  

Benefits: Conditions hair and skin and adds shine. It has charge neutralization ability that can be used as an antistatic agent. Its amino acid composition can help restructure the hair fibber and reduce damage caused by external factors.

OLIVE OIL ESTERS

Obtainment: Complex mixture of olive oil esters of vegetable origin.

Benefits:  This ingredient acts as an emulsion stabiliser and hair and skin conditioning agent. It considerably facilitates the application of a cosmetic product and at the same time provides the skin with outstanding emollience, softness and a fine silky touch at the time of application. It is also important to mention that it does not leave a greasy finish since it is present in the product in a very low proportion.

GLYCERYL STEARATE

Extraction: this ingredient is derived from glycerin and stearic acid, a fatty acid obtained from vegetable oils. It is found naturally in the human body so it will not damage skin.

Benefits: acts as a lubricant on the skin’s surface to give it a soft, smooth and light appearance. It also slows down water loss by forming a protective barrier and protects skin against the damage caused by free radicals. Furthermore, in terms of formulation, it helps to stabilize oil-water emulsions by reducing the surface tension of the substances present.

LACTIC ACID
