This ingredient is obtained from plants by hydrolysis of fats and by the fermentation of sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in our skin and is considered a self-repair compound. It is one of many substances in the skin that help maintain the outer barrier and prevent dryness and scaling.

Obtención: Este ingrediente se obtiene a partir de la glicerina y el ácido esteárico, un ácido graso obtenido a partir de aceites vegetales.

Obtención: Se obtiene de la primera presión en frío de aceitunas.

Beneficios: Uno de los aceites más prestigiosos del mediterráneo no sólo en alimentación sino también para la piel. Al incluir una gran cantidad de ácidos grasos naturales y su aporte de vitaminas E y K el aceite de oliva actúa combatiendo la sequedad de la piel.

Obtención: Se trata de un extracto de color azul oscuro obtenido mediante un proceso de fermentación biológica del fruto de la Gardenia jasminoides. 

Beneficios: Actúa como pigmento natural proporcionando un color azul característico a productos cosméticos. En adición, hay que destacar que se le atribuyen propiedades antioxidantes. 

Obtención: de origen natural, se obtiene por evaporación de agua de mar

Beneficios: En cosmética tiene diferentes aplicaciones, desde productos capilares para el volumen del cabello. También tiene beneficios como producto antiacnéico para el rostro. Además, tiene propiedades anticelulíticas para el cuerpo.

Extraction: Lecithin is a natural mixture of diglycerides and phosphoric acid that is obtained from some seeds such as soybeans. Its appearance varies from a waxy mass to a thick liquid.

Benefits: Lecithin and hydrogenated lecithin improve the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring elasticity. They increase water retention, thereby reducing loss of hydration. These ingredients also help form non-ionic emulsions by reducing the substances’ surface tension.

Xanthan Gum is a polysaccharide derived from the fermentation of carbohydrates such as glucose or corn syrup. It is used as a binder, emulsion stabilizer and skin conditioning agent in a wide variety of cosmetics and personal care products, including bath products, makeup, skin and hair products, and toothpaste.

Obtención: La sal es un árbol originario del subcontinente indio. Se utiliza para numerosos ámbitos, desde la construcción, medicina ayurvédica, alimentación o cosmética.

Beneficios: La resina tiene acción astringente. Se utiliza por su capacidad compactante para crear la viscosidad adecuada en productos cosméticos.

Squalene is a natural organic compound extracted from rice plants, wheat germ and green olives. It is a natural component of the skin and a good emollient that has antioxidant properties and stimulates the immune system.

It is a salt of phytic acid, a compound of vegetable origin derived from corn. It is used in cosmetics as a chelating agent.

Tocopherol is a vitamin found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green leafy vegetables. It is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties.

It is a fatty acid of vegetable origin. Beta-Sitosterol is naturally generated in many fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. It is similar to cholesterol, which occurs naturally in the skin and is considered part of the intercellular matrix of the skin. It is the salt of sorbic acid. Sorbic acid is naturally produced as para-sorbic acid in mountain ash berries, Sorbus Aucuparia, Rosaceae. It protects cosmetics from deterioration by preventing or delaying the growth and reproduction of microorganisms.

It is a salt of benzoic acid and is used as a preservative to allow the preservation of cosmetics. It is especially used to provide protection against the growth of fungi.
