INCI: Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter
Obtainment: cupuaçu butter is obtained by cold-pressing the seeds of cupuaçu fruits (Theobroma grandiflorum), a tropical tree native to the Amazon rainforest that belongs to the same family as cocoa.
Benefits: this butter has a nutritional power 1.5 times superior to shea butter, it is emollient, moisturising, and absorbs water easily. It has a composition rich in unsaturated fatty acids, plant polyphenols and sterols that provide protection and hydration. It is also rich in B vitamins and vitamin C.
