Mauritia Flexuosa Fruit Oil

Obtention: This oil is extracted from the pulp of the fruit of the Mauritia flexuosa species, a plant native to the Amazon popularly known in Brazil as Buriti. 

Benefits: It is rich in oleic and palmitic acid and carotenoids, especially vitamin A. This oil is prized for its essential fatty acids and emollients that help keep the skin soft. It is also moisturising, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, healing and soothing for sunburn.
