SUCROSE LAURATE

INCI
Sucrose Laurate

Obtaining:

It is a sucrose ester obtained by the esterification of sucrose (sugar) with lauric acid (usually derived from vegetable oils like coconut). The result is a non-ionic surfactant/emulsifier.

Benefits:

It acts as an emulsifier and co-emulsifier with a very good sensory profile, helping to form stable emulsions and improve texture without a heavy feel. It can also function as a solubiliser and as a mild surfactant in cleansing products, providing a finer and creamier foam, making it an interesting option for formulas aimed at sensitive skin or ""gentle"" concepts.
