The main difference is in the texture and function. Vitamin C is a serum that provides more antioxidants, such as the vitamin C, and keeps the skin hydrated, luminous, and even-toned, and it has a lower density, so it penetrates deeper into the skin. The Cica Calm Moisturising Cream, on the other hand, is a facial cream that moisturizes for 24 hours and reduces redness and inflammation of the skin. This is especially for dry, sensitive, and normal skin types. With Vitamin Complex Facial Plan, you apply Vitamin C first thing in the morning, then Cica Calm Moisturising Cream after it is absorbed.
Both products give your skin the hydration it needs. We would choose between them depending on what our skin is like. If you have oily or combination skin, i.e. skin that tends to be shiny, especially in the T-zone, or blemishes, Pacific Ocean Mosturizing Gel would be ideal, because of its light texture and the fact that it does not contain oils. On the other hand, if your skin is more prone to dryness and flaking, or redness, the Cica Calm would be ideal for you.
This cream is recommended for sensitive, dehydrated, or reactive skin, as it reduces sensitivity, dryness, and free radical effects with Mexican agastache, xeric plant concentrate, and vegan hyaluronic acid.
Cica Calm does not contain sunscreen, but you can use it with our Healthy Protection Facial Sunscreen with physical filters and SPF50.
It will provide 24 hours of hydration if applied in the morning, as it provides great hydration. But there is no problem in applying it also at night if our skin needs extra hydration or applying it to the driest areas of the face.
