Obtención: Este extracto es obtenido a partir de la corteza del sauce negro, un árbol originario del este de Norteamérica. Esta parte del árbol tiene un elevado contenido en taninos y salicina. 

Beneficios: Proporciona exfoliación (incrementa la renovación celular) y acción anti-microbiana sin ningún tipo de irritación asociada. El ácido salicílico actúa suavizando y disolviendo la queratina, lo que conlleva que las pieles muertas de la piel se desprendan y sean fácilmente removibles. Obtención: El abedul es un árbol de gran tamaño, de la familia de las Betuláceas y originario de Eurasia. Sus hojas tienen un olor ligeramente aromático, y son ricas en saponinas, taninos y flavonoides.
