TEA TREE OIL

Sourcing: an essential oil obtained by steam stripping the leaves and terminal branches of Melaleuca alternifolia Chell. (Mirtaceae), also known as Australian tea tree.

Benefits: It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that make it ideal for preventing the degradation of sweat by bacteria and also for the treatment of acne. Because of these properties it can also be used as a natural preservative.
