HYDROGENATED COCO-GLYCERIDES

Extraction: This compound is obtained from vegetable oils.

Benefits: Used as an emollient that softens, protects and nourishes the skin.

OLUS OIL

Extraction: vegetable oil composed mainly of triglycerides of fatty acids.

Benefits: softens and soothes skin, which is why it is used in most cosmetic products. It is an excellent emollient and moisturizer and forms a barrier over the skin to prevent the loss of hydration. Suitable for dry and sensitive skin.

JAPANESE WAX AND RHUS VERNICIFLUA

Extraction: this combination of waxes is obtained from the respective trees Rhus Verniciflua and Rhus Succedanea, both originally from Asia.

Benefits: they are plant-derived substitutes of beeswax. They act as emollients, give consistency to the product and obtain an adequate texture and viscosity.

HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL

Sourcing: Castor oil is an amber-colored vegetable oil that is obtained from the cold pressing of the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. The castor plant is found in India, Africa and in some parts of South America, although it's currently consumed mostly in the United States.

Benefits: It acts as an emollient agent as it is highly moisturizing and softening. It should be noted that it's quickly absorbed into the skin and nourishes from the inside, making it particularly suitable and beneficial for dry and sensitive skin. On the other hand, it should be mentioned that it also has well-ageing properties as it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin and therefore slows down the appearance of expression lines."

CARNAUBA WAX

Extraction: Carnuba wax is extracted from the leaves of a plant known as carnuba palm (Copernicia Cerifera).

Benefits: This is one of the most long-lasting waxes and has great versatility. It stands out for its brightness, for its high resistance, and for being hypoallergenic. Acts as an emollient with moisturising properties. It also provides consistency to cosmetic products.

CANDELILLA WAX

Extraction: Candelilla Wax comes from the plant Euphorbia Cerífera, also known as candelilla plant. Its colour can vary from a brown to a more yellowish tone.

Benefits: This wax has protective and moisturising properties and is well absorbed into the skin. It is used as a vegan alternative to beeswax as it shares the same protective and thickening properties. One of the most appreciated properties of this wax is the high level of brightness in its surface when refined.

C10-18 TRIGLYCERIDES

Extraction: Triglycerides are obtained from olive oil.

Benefits: Provides softness and suppleness to the skin.

GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE

Extraction: natural ester of vegetable origin of glycerin and caprylic acid.

Benefits: acts as an emulsion stabilizer and a moisturizing agent.

PROPANEDIOL

Extraction: 100% natural ingredient obtained from sugarcane and approved by Ecocert. It is biodegradable, making it the perfect natural alternative to petroleum glycols.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics as a moisturizing agent, solvent and emollient. Its sensory properties help reduce skin irritations. They also control viscosity.

BENZOIC ACID

Obtained: Benzoic acid is found naturally in different plant species.
Benefits: It is a preservative used in cosmetics, it inhibits the proliferation of fungi and bacteria.

SOYBEAN OIL

Extraction: it is obtained directly from the seeds of soybeans, a legume rich in proteins with great energetic and nutritional value. This oil high in vitamins (A, B6, B12 and K), calcium, magnesium and potassium.

Benefits: it is high in antioxidants and has moisturizing and firming properties. It also works to stimulate cell regeneration and sometimes works as a surfactant. It easily penetrates deep into skin to stimulate the synthesis of collagen, elastin and other proteins that help keep skin firm.

SORBIC ACID

Extraction: This acid is present in various fruits, but it is extracted from sorbellano fruit (sorbus aucuparia).

Benefits: Sorbic acid helps to preserve cosmetics, they are used as antimicrobial agents in the food and cosmetic industry. Specifically reduce the development of yeast and fungi.

BETA-SITOSTEROL

Extraction: fatty acid from vegetable origin. Beta-Sitosterol is naturally produced in many fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. It is similar to cholesterol, which occurs naturally in the skin and is considered part of the intercellular matrix of the skin.

Benefits: it provides a lot of hydration and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.

VITAMIN E

Extraction: tocopherol or vitamin E, is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturizes and helps keep skin firm. For hair care, Holy Basil helps improve the blood circulation in the scalp which stimulates hair growth and helps to condition hair and provide shine.

SQUALENE

Extraction: it is the hydrogenated version of squalene. It is an aliphatic triterpene extracted from rice bran, wheat germ and green olives. It has a 100% natural origin.

Benefits: it is a natural component of the skin and a good emollient and sebum restorer. It is used in regenerative treatments for dry skin. It has antioxidant properties and stimulates the immune system.

ULTRAMARINE PINK OXIDE

Sourcing: Pigment of mineral origin.

Benefits: It gives a pink colour.

GREEN CHROMIUM OXIDE

Obtained: A pigment of mineral origin. 

Benefits: Used as a colouring agent in cosmetics.

RED IRON OXIDE

Obtainment: Pigment of mineral origin.

Benefits: Acts as a red coloring.

YELLOW IRON OXIDE

Extraction: pigment of mineral origin.

Benefits: it acts as yellow colourant.

BLACK IRON OXIDE

Extraction: pigment of mineral origin.

Benefits: it acts as black colourant.

Manganese violet

Obtained: It is a pigment of mineral origin. 

Benefits: Used as a colouring agent in cosmetics.

TITANIUM DIOXIDE

Extraction: the titanium dioxide included in this formulation is from natural mineral origin, it is obtained from the rutile mineral.

Benefits: it has the ability to act as a solar protector reflecting and scattering radiations. It acts in the skin in a superficial way as a mirror, adding an effective barrier against sun rays. Its protection power is highly effective against UVA radiations, visible lighting and IR. It also acts as a dye or opacifier, thanks to its pure white colour.
