Extraction: arginine is an amino acid obtained by biofermentation. It is one of the main components of hair keratin. Acts as a source of nitrogen for proper cell function, generating a vasodilator effect that improves blood circulation.

Benefits: used in many formulas as a natural stabiliser, much safer than conventional alkaline agents, it is known for its effectiveness in fighting hair loss. It is biodegradable.

Sourcing: Vegan ingredient of vegetable origin, mainly vegetable oils.

Benefits: Has the properties of an emulsifier, helping to keep the water and oil phases of the formula blended together. It also acts as an emollient, preventing moisture from evaporating from the surface of the skin, and providing a pleasant texture to the skin when the product is applied.

Extraction: Glyceryl Behenate is a plant-derived ester derived from glycerin and behenic acid.

Benefits: It is used in food, pharmacy and cosmetics for its capacity to improve viscosity in emulsions. It is a non-comedogenic ingredient, which does not provide greasy sensation nor obstructs the pores of the skin.

Extraction: derived from Coconut Oil and Glycerin, is considered an excellent emollient and skin repairing agent. It is a mix of fatty acids. It is not considered a sensitizing agent.

Extraction: Lecithin is a natural mixture of diglycerides and phosphoric acid that is obtained from some seeds such as soybeans. Its appearance varies from a waxy mass to a thick liquid.

Benefits: lecithin and hydrogenated lecithin improve the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring elasticity. They increase water retention, thereby reducing loss of hydration. These ingredients also help form non-ionic emulsions by reducing the substances’ surface tension.

Extraction: sunflower oil is obtained from Helianthus Annus sunflower seeds.

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

Extraction: natural polysaccharide of high natural weight derived from the fermentation of carbohydrates such as glucose or corn syrup.

Sourcing: A natural and vegan active ingredient, it is an extract from the leaves of the Vietnamese Langsat tree.

Sourcing: Natural origin, extract from the bulb of the yellow daffodil, Narcissus tazetta. Native to the Mediterranean region. Natural and environmentally friendly extraction.

Benefits: This ingredient is based on mimicking plant dormancy to slow the proliferation of dermal fibroblasts,  an effective strategy to preserve telomere length in a youthful state. This process leads to a decrease in wrinkles and an boost in the skin's elasticity.

Sourcing: It is an extract of marine red algae that is cultivated in a photobioreactor.

Obtainment: It is extracted from the root of the Alkanna Tinctoria (commonly known as a dyer's alkanet), native to the Mediterranean basin.

Extraction: Levulinic Acid is a 100% natural preservative obtained from the degradation of cellulose.

Sourcing: Of vegetable origin, ergothioneine is extracted from mushrooms, the richest in this amino acid being the Porcini, or white mushroom.

Benefits: An amino acid that provides high antioxidant power, prevents oxidation and also combats free radicals in the body, not only in cell membranes, but also has the ability to act in the mitochondria, the organelle where the cellular energy  needed for all the body's biochemical reactions is produced.
