Anti-aging facial serum

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

Benefits: water helps to cleanse the body. Hydrates and improves the effect of other active ingredients, provides softness and delays premature aging of the skin.

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

Extraction: natural pentylene glycol is obtained from renewable plant-based sources such as sugar cane or maize.

Extraction: Glyceryl Behenate is a plant-derived ester derived from glycerin and behenic acid.

This natural perfume contains essential oils of tropical fruits such as guava, papaya and pomegranate together with rose and violet. It has floral aromatic benefits with exotic notes, which give a revitalising and relaxing sensation to the skin.

Sourcing: Obtained by biotechnological process from corn seeds.

Benefits:  Ribose is a fundamental component of the ATP (cellular energy) structure. Extraction: Levulinic Acid is a 100% natural preservative obtained from the degradation of cellulose.

Benefits: it is a mild preservative that control colonies of microorganisms without altering the integrity, colour or pH of the other ingredients included in the product. It has very good antibacterial properties.

Extraction: Xylitol is derived from plant sources such as birch or corn, through the hydrolysis of xylans followed by hydrogenation.

Benefits: On the skin, it acts as a humectant, retaining water and strengthening the skin barrier for prolonged hydration. In oral health, it inhibits cavity-causing bacteria, balances pH, and promotes enamel remineralisation, reducing dry mouth and encouraging a healthier, fresher mouth."

Extraction: Lecithin is a natural mixture of diglycerides and phosphoric acid that is obtained from some seeds such as soybeans. Its appearance varies from a waxy mass to a thick liquid.

Benefits: lecithin and hydrogenated lecithin improve the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring elasticity. They increase water retention, thereby reducing loss of hydration. These ingredients also help form non-ionic emulsions by reducing the substances’ surface tension.

Benefits: This extract is used as a vegan alternative to synthetic pigments or animal pigments.

Extraction: It is a solid white substance with an alkaline pH, which is obtained from common salt (Sodium Chloride)

Benefits: It's pH regulator used to raise acidic pH to a level suitable for the skin. Higher (alkaline) or lower (acidic) pH, will damage the skin's protective mechanism by exposing it to harmful bacteria and the environment. Therefore, maintaining the pH of a product is very important for skin health.

Sourcing: Of vegetable origin, ergothioneine is extracted from mushrooms, the richest in this amino acid being the Porcini, or white mushroom.

Benefits: An amino acid that provides high antioxidant power, prevents oxidation and also combats free radicals in the body, not only in cell membranes, but also has the ability to act in the mitochondria, the organelle where the cellular energy  needed for all the body's biochemical reactions is produced.
