Dandruff Control Shampoo

WATER

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

Benefits: water helps to cleanse the body. Hydrates and improves the effect of other active ingredients, provides softness and delays premature aging of the skin.

LAURYL GLUCOSIDE

Extraction: it is a non-ionic surfactant and a member of the family of alkyl glycosides, which are substances formed by mixing alcohols and sugar and/or glucose. This ingredient is generally obtained sustainably from palm kernel oil, sugar corn or coconut.  

Benefits: It is a surfactant and cleaning agent. Breaks surface tension so that dirt and oil are more easily removed.

DISODIUM COCOYL GLUTAMATE

Extraction: It is obtained from coconut oil and fermented sugar. This surfactant is one of the most gentle and respectful to the skin so it is tolerated by all types of skins.

Benefits: In addition to being an excellent cleaner and foam generator, it is also eco-friendly.

COCO BETAINE

Extraction: Coconut betaine is an amphoteric surfactant of natural origin (derived from coconut).  

Benefits: Improves lather and has antistatic properties in hair care.

COCO GLUCOSIDE

Extraction: non-ionic surfactant and co-surfactant of vegetable origin, biodegradable and very suitable for use in shampoos and shower gels. It is obtained from renewable raw materials such as coconut oil and the sugar found in fruits.

Benefits: it reduces the potential for irritation caused by surfactants and improves hair styling, in addition to softening it.

GLYCERYL OLEATE

Extraction: natural monoester derived from glycerol and oleic acid. Creates water-oil emulsions where water is the most abundant compound, but it can also be used as a co-emulsifier and thickener for formulations where the composition is mostly oil.

Benefits: it is used as an emulsifier and non-ionic co-surfactant in various skin and hair care products. Leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth.

POTASSIUM COCOYL RICE AMINO ACIDS

Extraction: vegetal origin sufractant and co-sufractant, biodegradable and commonly accepted in shampoo and shower gel making. It is obtained from coconut oil and rice oil.

Benefits: it takes care of gently cleaning and reducing irritation chances from other aggressive sufractants. It produces small bubbles.

DANDRUFF CONTROL PERFUME

Unique natural perfume that combines green, mint and cucumber notes, aqueous notes, aloe vera and fruity notes of melon and yuzu. It is light and refreshing.

BETAINA

Sourcing : Derived from sugar beet roots.

Benefits: It is a mild surfactant. Provides immediate and long-term hydration and moisturising. Manages the skin's water balance and strengthens the skin barrier. Protects the skin barrier from surfactants.

ZINC PCA

Extraction: Zinc PCA is the zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA) of natural origin.  

Benefits: It is important for various functions of the dermis, specifically those with oily scalp and skin. Participates in the control of the sebum production of sebaceous glands, reduces the accumulation of yeast, bacteria and fungi that can cause itching, inflammation and discomfort. It has astringent, antibacterial and sebum-regulating effects. It is known for its effectiveness in eliminating dandruff, as it controls and prevents its spread

LAURYL LACTYL LACTATE

Extraction: it is obtained from lauryl alcohol and lactic acid through an esterification process. Lauryl alcohol is obtained from palm oil. And lactic acid is one of the natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs).  

Benefits: Provides moisture and improves the oil content of the skin. It provides a soft and getle feeling and forms a protective layer on the skin that locks moisture inside. It cleanses the skin without drying it out.

PROPANEDIOL CAPRYLATE

Extraction: it is produced from natural materials such as palm or palm oil.  

Benefits: It is an anti-dandruff active ingredient of natural origin that limits the activity of Malassezia (fungi that live on human skin) and therefore reduces the development of dandruff. It has antimicrobial activity.

GRAPE EXTRACT

Obtaining: This ingredient is extracted from the juice of grapes.  

Benefits: Grape extract contains linoleic acid, oleic acid and vitamins A, D and E. It has antioxidant and antibacterial properties on the skin.

NATURAL MENTHOL

Extraction: menthol is an alcohol that is extracted from peppermint essential oil. Peppermint is considered the most precious of the mints.

Benefits: helps restore natural pH levels that are deteriorated via the use of conventional shampoos. It offers a delicate and deep cleaning action while removing grease without damaging the hair. It also strengthens hair follicles, refreshes and prevents scalp irritations. It provides both soothing and refreshing properties.

LACTATO DE MENTILO

Obtaining: Ingredient naturally obtained. It is a compound generated by the fusion of menthol in its pure state and natural lactic acid.

Benefits: Provides a soothing and refreshing effect. Applied on the skin, it produces a sensation of cold effect, which brings freshness to tired legs.

AMLA FRUIT

Extraction: also known as the Indian gooseberry, the Amla is a small tree of the euphorbiaceae family. It is found in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia.

Benefits: plant derived, it maintains the skin in optimal conditions and acts as a moisturiser.

VITAMIN E

Extraction: tocopherol or vitamin E, is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturizes and helps keep skin firm. For hair care, Holy Basil helps improve the blood circulation in the scalp which stimulates hair growth and helps to condition hair and provide shine.

GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE

Extraction: Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is a derivative of guar seeds. It is a type of galactomannan, a polysaccharide, which forms a viscous gel called guar gum when mixed with cold water.  

Benefits: Often used as an antistatic and conditioning agent for hair or skin; it also increases the viscosity of cosmetics.

PROPANEDIOL

Extraction: 100% natural ingredient obtained from sugarcane and approved by Ecocert. It is biodegradable, making it the perfect natural alternative to petroleum glycols.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics as a moisturizing agent, solvent and emollient. Its sensory properties help reduce skin irritations. They also control viscosity.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

HYDROGENATED PALM GLYCERIDES CITRATE

Extraction: oily liquid derived from vegetable oils and citric acid.

Benefits: it is used as an antioxidant, emollient and skin conditioner.

CITRIC ACID

Extraction: citric acid is a weak organic acid found in fruits such as lemons and oranges. Lemon juice contains approximately 5-8% citric acid.

Benefits: citric acid and its salts: Diammonium, Potassium and Sodium help to preserve cosmetics since they are metal chelating agents. Citric acid and its salts are also added to cosmetics to help regulate the acid / base levels. Functions as a powerful antioxidant and helps to regulate and maintain skin’s hydration and elasticity.

SODIUM BENZOATE

Extraction: benzoic acid salt that is naturally found in blueberries, prunes, cinnamon and apple.

Benefits: it is used as a cosmetic preservative to prevent the growth and proliferation of fungi and bacteria in the products. 

POTASSIUM SORBATE

Extraction: is the potassium salt of sorbic acid that occurs naturally in mountain berries (Sorbus aucuparia).

Benefits: acts as a preservative, protecting cosmetics from deterioration by preventing or delaying the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. This compound is easily metabolized by the body and produces water and CO2, therefore it is completely harmless.

LIMONENE

Extraction: it is a monoterpene of natural origin that is found in many citrus fruits such as lemon. It is a colorless liquid with a light, fresh and sweet citrus aroma.

Benefits: widely used to make fragrances and flavors. It is a main component of many essential oils.
