WATER

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

Benefits: water helps to cleanse the body. Hydrates and improves the effect of other active ingredients, provides softness and delays premature aging of the skin.

ARACHIDYL/BEHENYL ALCOHOL

Extraction: it is derived from plant sources such as corn.  

Benefits: they are fatty alcohols that are used in cosmetics as emulsifiers. They are also used as thickeners, to increase the foamability of a product or to improve foam stability. It softens the skin and leaves a non-greasy feeling after application.

PULLULAN

Extraction: natural polysaccharide produced by the fungus Aureobasidium.

Benefit: it is used in cosmetics for its powerful firming and anti-wrinkle properties. Produces a filmogenic effect, softening skin and hair.

TREHALOSE

Extraction: trehalose is a sugar synthesized by plants, bacteria and fungi and is used in personal care products to provide moisture and fragrance.

Benefits: allows the skin to retain moisture and to stay healthy and hydrated. It is renowned as a rehydrating agent for its potent antioxidant properties.

PROPANEDIOL

Extraction: 100% natural ingredient obtained from sugarcane and approved by Ecocert. It is biodegradable, making it the perfect natural alternative to petroleum glycols.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics as a moisturizing agent, solvent and emollient. Its sensory properties help reduce skin irritations. They also control viscosity.

TRIOLEIN

Extraction: Triolein, also known as triolein, is a triglyceride of oleic acid and represents 4-30% of olive oil. It is also found in almond oil.

Benefits: moisturising agent, it is also used as a controlling agent of the product's viscosity.

LINSEED EXTRACT

Extraction: linseed comes from flax, a herbaceous plant excellent as a textile fibre. The central part of its seed is rich in proteins containing arginine, glutamic acid and aspartic acid, as well as other essential amino acids.

Benefits: these amino acids have regenerating and strengthening properties for the hair. In addition, they promote the alignment of hair fibers, reducing frizz.

CETEARYL ALCOHOL

Extraction: mixture of cetyl and stearic alcohols that are produced naturally in plants.

Benefits: these alcohols have the ability to prevent emulsions from separating between their oily and watery parts. These ingredients are also used to alter the thickness of liquid products, to increase foam capacity or to stabilize them.

CURLY VIBES NATURAL PERFUME

Natural fragrance with a top note of avocado, pear and melon, heart notes of sandalwood, and base notes of vanilla.

CHIA SEED OIL

Extraction: chia seeds are a herbaceous plant belonging to the mint family. Chia seed oil is obtained by cold pressing the chia seeds.

Benefits: Chia seeds are one of the best known superfoods. Its oil contains up to 60% concentration of Omega 3 and has shown to have remarkable benefits for sensitive skin.

BIOSACCHARIDE GUM-1

Extraction: it is an anionic polysaccharide rich in fucose of biotechnological origin that is produced by bacterial fermentation of plant-based substrates.  

Benefits: moisturising and soothing cosmetic active ingredient for the skin and that has hair conditioning and repairing properties. It provides long-lasting hydration through the fixation of water to the epidermis by forming a moisturising film that does not become occlusive. This film gives us a smooth and slippery touch on skin and hair without leaving shine or a sticky feeling.

XYLITOL

Extraction: this natural sweetener is extracted from the bark of the birch tree.

Benefits: Xylitol is not fermentable by oral bacteria. This ingredient maintains a neutral oral pH which helps prevent cavities from forming and the erosion of enamel. Cavities are formed when oral bacteria consume sugars present in the mouth and generate acids, which erode tooth enamel.

OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT

Extraction: extracted from the leaves of the olive tree, a tree that is usually found in the Mediterranean areas of Europe and Africa. The olive branches, from where the leaves are collected, are traditionally recognised as symbols of peace.

Benefits: it has antioxidant and antibacterial properties. In the same way, it maintains the skin in optimal conditions and acts as a fragrant agent.

VITAMIN E

Extraction: tocopherol or vitamin E, is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturizes and helps keep skin firm. For hair care, Holy Basil helps improve the blood circulation in the scalp which stimulates hair growth and helps to condition hair and provide shine.

SODIUM LACTATE

Extraction: it is produced by fermentation of a sugar source, such as corn or beetroot.  

Benefits: it is a humectant; it hydrates the skin by keeping water in the deepest layers of the skin. Helps prevent water loss and supplies a feeling of elasticity. It works as a keratolytic agent, which means it helps remove dead cells from the skin's surface, contributing to its overall healthy functions and helping to improve skin problems such as keratosis pilaris, rough texture, and dry and dull skin.

LACTIC ACID

Extraction: lactic acid is used to balance the pH of cosmetic products.

Benefits: this ingredient allows cosmetics to be milder for skin and hair.

ACETYL ETHYLHEXYL POLYHYDROXYSTEARATE

Extraction: obtained from castor oil fatty acids.  

Benefits: emollient with softening properties, supplies hydration, shine, improves extensibility and is an SPF enhancer, among others.

ETHYL OLIVATE

Extraction: obtained from olive oil fatty acids.  

Benefits: It acts as an emollient, softening the skin and as a hair conditioner. Leaves hair easy to comb, flexible, soft and shiny and gives volume, lightness and shine.

GLYCERYL OLEATE CITRATE

Extraction: is a biological compound consisting of citric acid and vegetable oils. +

Benefits: this fatty acid monoglyceride is used as an emulsifier and stabiliser for water and oil emulsions. It also contributes to the even distribution of the product during use.

CAPRYLIC / CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE

Extraction: derived from Coconut Oil and Glycerin, is considered an excellent emollient and skin repairing agent. It is a mix of fatty acids. It is not considered a sensitizing agent.

Benefits: it repairs the surface of the skin and prevents the loss of moisture and also works to thicken skin. They are neutral oils that do not irritate the skin, are easy to apply and are quickly absorbed.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

CAPRYLIC ACID

Extraction: it is a saturated fatty acid with an oily, colourless consistency. It is a minor part of coconut and palm kernel oil.

Benefits: it acts as a natural emollient surfactant.

GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE

Extraction: natural ester of vegetable origin of glycerin and caprylic acid.

Benefits: acts as an emulsion stabilizer and a moisturizing agent.

SODIUM LEVULINATE

Extraction: Sodium Levulinate is a 100% natural preservative obtained from starch and vegetal inulin.

Benefits: It is a gentle preservative proved to be able to control microorganism colonies without altering the integrity, colour or pH of other ingredients included in the final product. It is especially used in the preservation of fresh ingredients.

SODIUM ANISATE

Extraction: Sodium Anisate is a 100% natural preservative obtained from anise and fennel.

Benefits: It is a gentle preservative proved to have a great mitotic inhibitor activity without altering the integrity, colour or pH of other natural ingredients included in the final product. It is especially used in the preservation of fresh ingredients.

SODIUM BENZOATE

Extraction: benzoic acid salt that is naturally found in blueberries, prunes, cinnamon and apple.

Benefits: it is used as a cosmetic preservative to prevent the growth and proliferation of fungi and bacteria in the products. 

POTASSIUM SORBATE

Extraction: is the potassium salt of sorbic acid that occurs naturally in mountain berries (Sorbus aucuparia).

Benefits: acts as a preservative, protecting cosmetics from deterioration by preventing or delaying the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. This compound is easily metabolized by the body and produces water and CO2, therefore it is completely harmless.

BENZYL ALCOHOL

Extraction: benzyl alcohol is a mild preservative widely used in cosmetics for products with an aqueous base. It is produced by fermenting sugary plant solutions and is approved by the certifier “Ecocert”.

Benefits: prevents cosmetics and personal care products from deteriorating and becoming contaminated by preventing the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. It works as an antiseptic, astringent and freshener.

LIMONENE

Extraction: it is a monoterpene of natural origin that is found in many citrus fruits such as lemon. It is a colorless liquid with a light, fresh and sweet citrus aroma.

Benefits: widely used to make fragrances and flavors. It is a main component of many essential oils.

LINALOOL

Extraction: monoterpene with floral aroma and a touch of menthol. This natural fragrance, is sweet and smooth. It is produced by a wide variety of plants such as mint, cinnamon, citrus fruits and birch trees.

CITRAL

Extraction: also known as geranial, is a natural compound with lemon citrus aroma. It comes from the essential oils of a series of plants that include: lemon grass, lemon myrtle, lemon and orange blossom.

Benefits: it is used in perfumes as a natural component of essential oils. It is refreshing, rich in vitamins, stimulates microcirculation and nurtures tissues.

GERANIOL

Extraction: It is a monoterpene that is found in natural essential oils. It is found naturally in plants such as geranium and lemon.

Benefits: it is widely used as an ingredient of fragrances due to its rose-like scent. It is also used in many products to generate grapefruit, plum, pineapple, peach, lemon and cranberry scents.

COCO-CAPRYLATE / CAPRATE

Extraction: a vegetable ingredient obtained from coconut.

Benefits: presents a high level of biocompatibility with skin and therefore has the ability to penetrate deep and help skin to repair itself. It acts as an emollient and provides skin with incredible softness.

SUNFLOWER SEED OIL Eco

Extraction: sunflower oil is obtained from Helianthus Annus sunflower seeds.

Benefits: rich in omega-6 and vitamin E, sunflower seed oil is used in the cosmetics industry as skin repairing agent. Prevents skin dehydration and has soothing, nourishing and antibacterial properties. It is perfect for treating all skin types including: dry, normal, oily and acne prone skin.

JOJOBA OIL

Extraction: jojoba oil is extracted from the jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) nut (seed). Actually, it functions more like a wax that is liquid at room temperature than an oil. 96% of its composition consists of ceramides.

Benefits: highly moisturizing and nourishing. Ceramides cover the cells of the epidermis and to help regulate and intensify hydration. They are very similar to human skin, which is why they are absorbed and act quickly and are not oily to the touch. Jojoba oil also contains linoleic acid which is a very effective at restructuring and regenerating natural skin. Its vitamin E content also helps to rejuvenate skin and provides defence against free radicals. In addition, it is ideal for oily and acne-prone skin because it absorbs accumulated sebum and helps minimise breakouts. 

ARGAN OIL Eco

Extraction: argan is a small tree with a thorny trunk native to the southwestern region of Morocco. Its oil comes from the extract of the seeds that the tree produces. Its seed is similar to an almond and it is pressed manually until the oil is extracted. Argan oil extraction is a Berber tradition.

Benefits: known as liquid gold, its main function is to nourish the skin and keep hair silky, manageable and shiny. It is a potent moisturizer and contains vitamins (primarily vitamin E), antioxidants and essential fatty acids (80%). It does not leave excess oil on the skin and absorbs quickly, so it is suitable for oily and acne-prone skin types. It also has healing properties and works to sooth skin irritations and inflammation.

FLAX SEED OIL

Extraction: it is a plant-derived oil extracted from flax seeds by a cold pressing process after being dried. It is very appreciated by experts for its skin care benefits.

Benefits: it has anti-inflammatory and softening properties, it reduces the appearance of expression lines and softens wrinkles. It is especially beneficial for dry skin and its high fatty acid content contributes to reduce redness and irritation caused by skin disorders. It is also used as an aromatic agent.

ACEITE DE ALMENDRAS

Obtención: El aceite de almendras está compuesto por grasas monoinsaturadas (grasas saludables que se encuentran en alimentos de plantas), ácido oleico y ácidos linoleicos (como el Omega 3 y 6). El color es casi transparente, con toques amarillos o dorados, no tiene un aroma muy fuerte.

Beneficios: Actúa como estimulante en la formación de colágeno y elastina dando firmeza y elasticidad a los tejidos. SACHA INCHI OIL

Extraction: it is a semi-woody and perennial plant, of the euphorbiaceous family, originally from the Amazon. It is traditionally used in food and medicine for its excellent composition of proteins, amino acids, essential fatty acids (omegas 3, 6, and 9) and vitamin E.
