Extraction: Aloe Vera is a perennial plant native to warm climates. The gel contained in its leaves is commonly used in skin treatments due to its many beneficial properties.

AZELAIC ACID

Extraction: It is a linear chain dicharboxylic acid found in cereals such as wheat, rye and barley.

Benefits: It helps the skin to renew itself more quickly, thus reducing the appearance of pimples and blackheads. It also has proven effects on acne and rosacea.

WATER

Extraction:  water is an element present in most cosmetic products and is the most important raw material. In the cosmetics industry, purified water is used in a process to eliminate any solid particle that may contain water in order to achieve a higher degree of purity and quality.

Benefits: water helps to cleanse the body. Hydrates and improves the effect of other active ingredients, provides softness and delays premature aging of the skin.

PENTYLENE GLYCOL

Extraction: natural pentylene glycol is obtained from renewable plant-based sources such as sugar cane or maize.

Benefits: commonly used in moisturising creams and lotions for its hydrating properties, which help retain moisture in the skin. It also has antibacterial and preservative effects, helping other active ingredients act better on the skin.

PROPANEDIOL

Extraction: 100% natural ingredient obtained from sugarcane and approved by Ecocert. It is biodegradable, making it the perfect natural alternative to petroleum glycols.

Benefits: it is used in cosmetics as a moisturizing agent, solvent and emollient. Its sensory properties help reduce skin irritations. They also control viscosity.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne. It also prevents the accumulation of fat and improves the appearance of hair. Vegetable glycerin can be used as a diluent and as an alcohol substitute when preparing herbal extracts.

RICE STARCH

Extraction: Rice starch is a natural polymeric carbohydrate. It is the main component of rice, and is composed of amylose and amylopectin. When isolated from the rest of components, it comes in the form of a white powder.

Benefits: It is used as a natural alternative to talc. It has a very soft and pleasant touch, and absorbs the excess of sebum to achieve a matte finish. It helps to fix the makeup, which remains more time intact on skin.

GUAR GUM

Extraction: extract of Cyamopsis Tetragonol, also known as guar gum. It is a legume native to Asia.

Benefits: it creates a film on the skin that prevents it from drying out, and also regulates viscosity.

CLEOME GYNANDRA

Extraction: extracted from Cleome Gynandra, an annual wild plant native to Africa.

Benefits: rich in polyphenols and especially flavonoids, has a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action.

SAFFRON FLOWER

Extraction: Saffron flower extract, composed of delicate purple petals. It comes from a bulbous plant whose scientific name is Crocus Sativus.

Benefits: Strengthens the skin barrier, has a hydrating natural action, reduces the inflammatory response that causes redness, itching and stinging. It also fights oxidative stress.

DIGLYCERIN

Obtaining: it is a glycerine or glycerol dimer, so its molecular structure is larger.

Benefits: it contains a natural moisturising factor that reduces the evaporation of water in the surface layer of the skin, which means it guarantees correct and long-lasting hydration.

TROXERUTIN

Extraction: it is a flavonol, a type of flavonoid derived from rutoside. It can be obtained from Sophora japonica, also known as the Japanese pagoda tree.

Benefits: improves microcirculation and reduces capillary permeability, responsible for couperose. All this thanks to its antioxidant properties.

HONOKIOL

Extraction: it is a lignan isolated from the bark, seeds and leaves of trees belonging to the genus Magnolia.

Benefits: Together with Honokiol, it forms a complex with recognised antibacterial (being particularly effective against bacteria that cause acne) and antifungal properties. As well as having anti-inflammatory properties, it protects against lipid peroxidation and neutralises free radicals.

MAGNOLOL

Exytraction: this is a bioactive compound extracted from the bark, seeds and leaves of trees belonging to the genus Magnolia.

Benefits: Together with Honokiol, it forms a complex with recognised antibacterial (being particularly effective against bacteria that cause acne) and antifungal properties. As well as having anti-inflammatory properties, it protects against lipid peroxidation and neutralises free radicals.

MARITIME PINE BARK

Extraction: extracted from the bark of the maritime pine, a tree species of the Finaceae family, which is found in the western Mediterranean region. 

Benefits: it has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It also prevents cell ageing by strengthening collagen and elastin.

STARCH OF YUCCA

Extraction: it is the starch extracted from the manioc, also known as yucca. This tuber of tropical origin is also a highly-nutritious root.

Benefits: as it is a powder, it helps absorb sweat, respecting the body's natural perspiration. It also leaves a smooth finish on the skin. It is mainly used as a texturiser.

BROWN ALGAE POLYSACCHARIDE

Extraction: also known as alguinic acid, it is a polysaccharide that comes from brown seaweed, more precisely from its cell wall.

Benefits: it has a huge capacity to absorb water, in fact it swells creating a gelatinous structure. For this reason it is used as a binder and emulsifier, creates a surface film and regulates the viscosity of the formulation it is part of.

POLYGLYCERYL-10 LAURATE

Extraction: this is a polyglycerin ester consisting of an average of 10 units of lauric acid and glycerol.

Benefits: it is used as an emulsifier, surfactant and skin conditioner. It also serves as a solubiliser of perfumes and essential oils.

POLYGLYCERYL-6 OLEATE

Extraction: it is an ester of oleic acid and polyglycerin-6.

Benefits: it acts as an emulsifier and surfactant.

SODIUM LEVULINATE

Extraction: Sodium Levulinate is a 100% natural preservative obtained from starch and vegetal inulin.

Benefits: It is a gentle preservative proved to be able to control microorganism colonies without altering the integrity, colour or pH of other ingredients included in the final product. It is especially used in the preservation of fresh ingredients.

LEVULINIC ACID

Extraction: Levulinic Acid is a 100% natural preservative obtained from the degradation of cellulose.

Benefits: it is a mild preservative that control colonies of microorganisms without altering the integrity, colour or pH of the other ingredients included in the product. It has very good antibacterial properties.

SORBITAN PALMITATE

Extraction: by the reaction of polyol, sorbitol with fatty acids (palmitic acid).

Benefits: facilitates miscibility between water and oil, i.e. acts as an emulsifier.

LACTOBACILLUS FERMENT LYSATE

Extraction: it is a probiotic ingredient of lactic acid.

Benefits: it has a regulating function on the immune system, improving the health and appearance of the skin, as well as increasing its regenerative capacity. It also has a double calming and anti-inflammatory action.

Natural scent with notes of cherry, a heart of violet and a base of raspberry, vanilla, patchouli and cedar.

SODIUM PHYTATE

Extraction: sodium salt from phytic acid, a vegetable compound found in corn.
