It also benefits the hair by restoring shine and helping to eliminate excess dandruff and scalp irritations. It is used especially effective for treating skin irritations, blemishes and acne.

Extraction: it is harvested from plants (soy or coconut oil for example) by hydrolysis of fats and by fermenting sugars. Glycerol is found naturally in skin and is considered a self-healing compound.

Benefits: it is one of the many substances in the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevents dryness and peeling. It leaves skin feeling nourished and works to treat acne.
